Dreams pushed aside, put on pause, or even brutally crushed. I was retrenched and lost a well-paying job that was a bigger part of my identity than I thought. The struggle to find opportunities, new community and meaning left me feeling depressed, dejected, abandoned and alone.<\/p><p id=\"ember468\" class=\"ember-view reader-content-blocks__paragraph\">The last three years have been a journey of moving beyond the grief of 2020. With my wife&#8217;s support and investment in therapy, I&#8217;ve seen the power of believing in what God has placed in me and having a strong community that cares about seeing me live freely and fully lift the dark clouds. to dream again_<\/strong><\/p><p id=\"ember474\" class=\"ember-view reader-content-blocks__paragraph\">Even in my lowest moments, I always believe that the New Year is a fresh opportunity to grab hold of your God-given purpose, re-ignite the greatness in you and <em>DREAM AGAIN! <\/em>Easier said than done I know!<\/p><p id=\"ember475\" class=\"ember-view reader-content-blocks__paragraph\">Goal setting guru <a id=\"ember476\" class=\"ember-view\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/michaelhyatt1\/\">Michael Hyatt<\/a> wisely notes that the reason resolutions fail time and again is that they\u2019re based on a faulty system and that\u00a0meaningful progress toward things that matter most is ONLY possible if you know how to set and get goals:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-163bab8 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" you&#8217;re not ready to dream, that&#8217;s OK_<\/strong><\/p><p id=\"ember478\" class=\"ember-view reader-content-blocks__paragraph\">I haven&#8217;t felt like dreaming for a while. Trying to measure where we are and what comes next can be a letdown. My encouragement though is to take time out to look back and ask yourself some questions about what is disheartening so that you are aware.
